Engagement of Apprentices in Bank of Baroda under the Apprentices Act, 1961

Bank of Baroda (BOB) has announced a significant recruitment drive for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is an excellent opportunity for Indian citizens holding a Graduation Degree in any discipline to join one of India’s leading public sector banks. A total of 5000 Apprentice posts are available across various States and Union Territories. Interested candidates can apply online from May 19, 2026, with the last date for submission being June 8, 2026. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/- for a 12-month on-the-job training period.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.05.2026)

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• For candidates registered under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), the date of passing their Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding the cut-off date (01.05.2026).

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Local Language Proficiency:

• Candidates applying for training seats in a particular State/UT should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State/UT.
• A test for knowledge of the specified local language will be conducted as part of the selection process.

Stipend/Benefit

The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of ₹15,000/- per month during their engagement period of 01 (one) year. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits.

Selection Process

The selection for engagement of apprentices will be based on:

1. Online Examination: An objective-type online examination will be conducted. There will be no negative marking.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the online examination will undergo document verification.
3. Test of Local Language: Proficiency in the local language of the chosen State/UT will be assessed.

The online examination will cover General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must follow these steps:

1. Mandatorily register themselves on the government apprenticeship portals: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and/or https://nats.education.gov.in.
2. After registration, candidates will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com inviting them to fill the final “Application cum Examination Form” where they will provide personal data, choice of location/centre, category, PWBD status, and make online payment of the applicable fee/charges through the link provided by BFSI SSC.
3. The application process is considered complete only after the applicable fee/charges are deposited with BFSI SSC.
4. Candidates are advised to keep their registered email ID and mobile number active for all communications.

Application Fees

• SC / ST / PwBD candidates: Rs.200/- plus GST
• General, EWS, OBC (Male candidates): Rs.800/- plus GST
• General, EWS, OBC (Female / Transgender candidates): Rs.600/- plus GST
