Eligibility Criteria

Qualification for Professor

• PG (Ayurveda): Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the Subject concerned recognized under IMCC Act 1970/NCISM Act 2020.
• Experience: 15 Years Teaching Experience in the Subject concerned (10 Years Post-Graduate Teaching Experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Reader OR 15 Years Research Experience in Research Councils/Universities/National Institutes/NABL Accredited Laboratories/CGHS/State Govt. Health Services/Ministry of Ayush).
• Publications: Minimum 10 Research Publications in Indexed Journals or Peer Reviewed Journals OR Minimum 10 Research Publications and Patents combined.
• Other Skills: Working knowledge of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Basic Knowledge of GeM, GFRs, Office Procedures etc.
• Desirable: Ph.D. in the Subject concerned.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for Professor (Direct Recruitment) is 55 Years. Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), PH (10 Years), and Ex-Servicemen. The crucial date for determining the age limit is 20-06-2026.

Salary

Selected candidates for the Professor post will be placed in Pay Level 13, with a Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,23,100-2,15,900, plus NPA and other allowances as admissible under the rules of the Government of India.

Application Fee

Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the Application Processing & Intimation Fee. Separate applications and fees are required for applying to more than one post.

Applications submitted via post, courier, e-mail, or in person will not be accepted. Applicants must upload all relevant documents, including mark sheets, professional degrees, date of birth proof, caste certificates, experience certificates, registration certificates, and abstracts of research publications. Candidates working in Central/State Govt. service must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC), Vigilance Certificate, and Integrity Certificate. Ensure that the uploaded photograph is recent (not more than 10 days old), in color, and 10 kb in size, with the applicant’s face occupying 3/4th of the space. The scanned signature should be legible and 100 kb in size.
