Overview
South East Central Railway (SECR), Bilaspur Division, invites online applications for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962. A total of 1191 vacancies are available for various trades. Candidates who have passed 10th class and ITI in relevant trades are eligible to apply. The application process is entirely online, and the last date to apply is 2026-06-11.

Educational/Technical Qualification
- Must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Must have passed ITI course in relevant trades from a recognized institution.
Age Limit
The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 2026-06-11. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for Ex-serviceman and PWD.
Selection Process
The merit list will be prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both. Candidates must fill their 10th & ITI marks on the portal in the qualification section; otherwise, the application will be automatically rejected. No other higher qualification will be considered.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online only through the official website https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities should upload a recent caste certificate issued by a competent authority on the web portal. Ensure all required documents, including passport-size color photograph, scanned signature, and educational/technical qualifications, are uploaded.
